Bluefin is an amazing sushi bar. The owner is very friendly and treats every customer with respect and kindness. The ingredients are top notch and the environment is very clean and welcoming. Even when it was a packed house we still got our order in a timly manner. I would reccomend Bluefin to anyone who enjoys sushi.

I had never been to a sushi restaurant in Portland, and not being from the area wasn't sure where to go. After visiting with some locals in a bar, everyone agreed I had to try Bluefin. It's really great for a quick, inexpensive lunch! I enjoyed checking the boxes for all the different selections they had and the food was outstanding.

Great location... conveniently close to the Hollywood Theater! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and fantastic sake menu.

They do not offer regular/basic rolls. Instead they offer 'special' rolls that range from $12.95 to $16.95. While I am a fan of sushi, one roll should never be that expensive. And if so, at least offer cheaper rolls (not hand rolls). Sushi is decent... not worth the money IMO.

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and I have never been let down by the sushi or service. The servers here are so good to me and even remember what I order. They are the best in my opinion. I truly appreciate their attentiveness. Sushi is always fresh, my husband orders the chicken katsu and it never disappoints. It's a hidden gem in the Hollywod district and my go-to for sushi. Just a heads up that there is a room for large parties upstairs, so if it looks like you're the only one in the restaurant and your food is taking awhile, chances are they have a party upstairs.
